Information you choose to send
The enquiry form may collect your name, mobile or WhatsApp number, optional email address, preferred area, budget range, property goal, preferred contact method, timeline and message. It may also record the website language, landing page and campaign tags that brought you to the form. Please do not send identity documents, bank statements, payslips or other sensitive financial records through this form.
Why it is used
Your information is used to respond to your property enquiry, understand what type of home you are looking for and organise appropriate follow-up. It is not sold to advertising data brokers.
WhatsApp and email
If you contact YG through WhatsApp or email, those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Use the channel you are comfortable with.
Loan calculator and shortlist
The loan calculator runs in your browser and its inputs are not submitted through the website. Preview shortlist identifiers may be stored locally in your browser; you can remove them using your browser’s site-data controls.
Lead database and security
Submitted enquiries are organised in a private database stored outside the public website folder. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, preferred areas and messages are encrypted before they are written to that database. The encryption key is kept separately with restricted file permissions. The public website has no lead-list or admin endpoint.
A notification may also be sent to hi@rumarumah.my, so the email provider and hosting provider may process a copy. The form applies same-origin checks, input validation, anti-spam controls and a short-term rate limit. For rate limiting, the website stores a one-way daily code derived from the connection address rather than the address itself. Standard server logs may still contain IP address, requested page, browser information and timestamp.
Retention and access
Enquiry information is reviewed regularly and should be deleted when it is no longer reasonably needed for follow-up, legal obligations or record management. Lead status may be updated as the enquiry progresses. To request access, correction or deletion, email hi@rumarumah.my.

This notice will be updated as the service, hosting setup or professional registration changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
